I had the hot stone massage my first and I did not care for it. Not sure if this is on me because I have only ever had hot stone as an add on and not a full massage but I felt they were not applying enough pressure.

The spa itself is aesthetic and beautiful. So kind, attentive, willing to help and chat. They gave us great seats with nice views of the water for breakfast and dinner in Peakfine. Ask for a room away from the pools because there is a section that they can see into your suite. We were on the third floor water view. We stayed at Sparkling Hill in late October and it was our first experience of a spa resort. The resort commands spectacular views of the surrounding lake and mountains - great views whereever you look.

We arrived slightly early but were quickly accomodated into our very comfortable room I was surprised how warm hot the room was and soon learnt to keep the blinds down in the morning. We asked for a kettle at check in we did a web check-in and it soon appeared after we got to our room. Our server for both evenings was Christina, who was welcoming, professional and very knowledgable. A note here for people hoping to have dinner there - make sure to reserve a time for dinner - we didnt know and waited till 8.

One other point - if your package includes dinner, please note that the dinner voucher does not include gratuities; if you feel that your server deserves a proper tip, please note that the bill presented to you shows just drinks and whatever extras, so do the math. The spa facilites - pools etc were very good. We did not book treatments ahead of time, but there was plenty to do local hikes, enjoy the room.

We hope to go back one day. One word for the hotel - please include gratuities to servers in the package price.
