What do you people expect? Do you honestly go into a movie like this thinking that you're going to get classic amazing humor that's innovative and ground-breaking?

Come on Like this screen-writer person that was "dragged" to the theater by a friend. Please dude, get your self-righteous, over-inflated head out of your you-know-what and stop telling us that it was "the worst film you've ever seen".

And by the way, what have you ever written if you're such a big "screen writer from LA"? What are you expecting? Monty Python? It wasn't a good movie in the sense that American Beauty or The Sixth Sense were good movies, but did it fulfill it's advertised goal? It did. It's advertised as stupid guy humor People can be so self-righteous and offended but these types shouldn't even bother to go see it.

BFP : How did you come up with the Canadian connection? We read a story like that and thought it was pretty funny that if it kind of engulfed the whole town that was in the wrong country, how would that work, how would you fix that problem?

That was kind of the nugget of where we came up with the plot of that. And then you send us in there to be that force that tries to help people transition to be from Canadian to American and then you have the conflict there. I think the Mounties were a natural kind of rival at that point.

And then we cast these guys — we wanted to get real Canadian guys who grew up in Canada and could bring their own kind of thing to that part, and Will Sasso and Tyler Labine were Canadian guys who really embraced it.

They embraced the accent and the look and the feel and whatever. They did a fantastic job. PS : I had been concerned at first because they are so much bigger than the local cops in the first movie.

The local cops in the first movie are just kind of stiffs. I think we just ended up working with them and creating that scene and shot it. After you shoot we hang out with each other late at night and we just riff on stuff and that was something that was riffed on over a couple of days.
