In , Kelly was arrested for a DUI and had a history of domestic violence charges. Just before divorcing her husband in , Kelly was arrested for another DUI.

A few months later, the actress vowed to get her life and career back on track. Kelly entered a rehab center but tragically passed away in her sleep a few days later.
